I love the laid back days of summer on Sanibel when the big events of the day are either finding the perfect seashell while strolling the beach or watching the colors change in the kaleidoscope sky at sunset.
There’s just something about seeing the sun melt into the water on the horizon through the swaying fronds of palm trees.
This is what I dreamed about as a child.
You were right, Eleanor Roosevelt… “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
Absolutely beautiful! Thank-you!
Love this!! :) Gorgeous photos and I just felt a sense of calmness wash over me. Can’t wait to be back there in October! Thanks for the mini-vacation. <3

So beautiful!! It was so hard leaving Sanibel after two full weeks there! Amazing photos! Thanks for giving me one last sunset before I get ready to start teaching again!
I love to take sunset pictures, but yours are so much better. I may rotate the photos on my sign on screen.
Nothing more beautiful, love those sunsets on Sanibel
Gorgeous! Pam, you know what I’m going to say…they would make beautiful cards, postcards, posters, etc!!! Love them all, brings me right back to sanibel :)
Beautiful pics of a beautiful sunset…..deep sigh, happy smile…..
Wow. We really are blessed to live in Paradise and you capture it so wonderfully.
What can I add…sometimes words are inadequate to offer a comment on such staggering beauty. Thank you…I needed these…we’re in the middle of a kitchen remodel that is turning out to be more than we didn’t plan for, lol! Thanks, Pam.
STUNNING sunset photos!!!! But where were you, to be seeing the sun set over the ocean like that? Captiva? Ft. Meyers?
Oh, I see your answer to an earlier comment … the Causeway beach! :-)
Like Hawaiian sunsets!
On my last visit to Sanibel I purchased a guest towel that said “If Heaven had a name it would be Sanibel”. Thanks for sharing heaven with us!!! Can’t wait to get back there in October. My best friend is in the hospital – can’t wait to share these beautiful pictures with her!!!

They are all beautiful, but my favorite is the second one down. I love the deep blue of the sky with the rest of the colors.
