My buddy Ellen (Sanibel) <\/p><\/div>\n

Ellen is so cute! What a great way to show off her shells. She was picking up JEWEL BOXES (the white shell on her left eye- heehee) in hopes that one day she’ll have enough time to make a beautiful mirror. She always likes to keep the mini shells like the orange SCALLOP (on her right eye) to fill up glass vessels that she arranges in her bathrooms for a warm, beachy feeling.<\/p>\n

Cindy and Tracy (Kansas City)<\/p><\/div>\n

Cindy and Tracy left the boys at home in Kansas City for a weekend shelling in Sanibel. Cindy found a pretty nice size LIGHTENING WHELK on the Sanibel side of Blind Pass. They also found a few TULIPS, OLIVES, and FIGHTING CONCHS. Tracy has been coming to visit Sanibel for about 15 years so Cindy has practically grown up here.<\/p>\n

Kris (Minnesota)<\/p><\/div>\n

Kris was collecting shells to take back to her 2nd grade class in Minnesota. She was really looking hard for 13 completely different shells so each child would have something different so they can all share and learn about the gifts of the sea.<\/p>\n

A piece of CORAL, an OLIVE, a CONCH, a WHELK, a MUREX, a SCALLOP, and a COCKLE are some of the shells that she will be sharing with her class.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
