Maureen and Bill (Virginia)<\/p><\/div>\n

Dun-da. Dun-da…….Jaws?<\/p>\n

At Algiers Beach,\u00a0 Bill and Maureen from Alexandria, Virginia told me about an 8 inch \u201ccompletely intact\u201d whelk they found this week. They came to Sanibel for the first time in March and already came back for a second time this year. I think they\u2019re hooked!<\/p>\n

Speaking of \u201chooked\u201d, Bill then casually added that a guy casting from the beach just pulled in a shark right before I got there. Okay, it was a baby…\u201dbut I think it was a hammerhead\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not rare that fishermen will catch sharks around here but it is RARE that they bite us. Don\u2019t worry, shell happy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
