display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fKJ8Z3UeSPE?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>I wanted to know a little more about how an octopus lays eggs so this is what I found from <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/answers.yahoo.com\/question\/index?qid=20080605194837AAgbqJC\" target=\"_blank\">Yahoo Answers<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;&#8230;.The female octopus lays about 200,000 eggs (this figure dramatically varies between families, genera, species and also individuals). The female hangs these eggs in strings from the ceiling of her lair, or individually attaches them to the substrate depending on the species. The female cares for the eggs, guarding them against predators, and gently blowing currents of water over them so that they get enough oxygen.
