Clark and I ran into a fella named Hauss this afternoon who told us that he found some KING’S CROWNS early this morning. That’s a nice find. He said the tide was so low that he was walking the sand bars at West Gulf between #5 \u00a0and #6. He and his wife are from Lake County, FL and have been coming for a week every year for the last 15 years to shell. He was such a cute guy with a santa beard carrying a wicker basket for his shells in one hand and his shelling rake (a smaller “backhoe” version of Clark’s) in the other…but he was a little camera shy.<\/p>\n
