Seashells, sunsets and shellers color my world every day.<\/p>\n

All along the west end of Sanibel brightly colored SCALLOPS\u00a0brought out the color in each and every treasure that washed up<\/p>\n

Mixed in with this color were loads of all types of shells this weekend under the Blind Pass bridge that connects Sanibel to Captiva.<\/p>\n

It’s wild how the shells build up, get washed away then build up in another location so quickly.<\/p>\n

Maria (PA) and local sheller Jim found this amazing shell pile and within 10 minutes Jim scooped up this gorgeous ALPHABET CONE and a huge SHARKS EYE too. Less than 10 minutes after that they headed out to another spot. On the move for more color!<\/p>\n

After I left that shell pile, I stopped by Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge<\/strong><\/span><\/a> and ran into an amazing group of SW Florida shellers- Brian,\u00a0Stef, Karen and Kelle who all have the same colorful passion for\u00a0shelling as we do. A day to remember for sure.<\/p>\n

And the shellin’ love continued…. I saw more shellers off the beach. I ran into Judie and Anna from New Jersey\u00a0at the Sanibel Island Farmers Market<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>where Judie wanted to show me an OLIVE she found this week at Blind Pass Sanibel. Of course she didn’t have the shell with her but she showed me a photo of it\u00a0on her phone….<\/p>\n

OMG She found a FULGURATOR OLIVE<\/strong><\/span><\/a>! Shellzam!\u00a0So there we were, shellebrating her find in the midst of all the color of the veggies, seafood, honey and flowers. So cool.<\/p>\n
