Ida is now a tropical depression and has exited the Gulf of Mexico. She never came close to Southwest Florida but I\u2019m not giving up hope that shells were stirred up and are headed our way. In the mean time, there\u2019s just sand in Captiva and I\u2019m heading out to check out Sanibel but I haven\u2019t gotten any good reports from my shelling friends so I\u2019m not expecting much.
