Wow! \u00a0There are bazillions of PEN SHELLS and EGG CASES on the beach \u00a0at\u00a0GULFSIDE CITY PARK<\/strong><\/a>…<\/p>\n

There are\u00a0HORSE CONCH EGG CASES,<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0LIGHTNING WHELK EGG CHAINS<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0PEAR WHELK CHAINS,\u00a0PAPER FIG EGG CASINGS<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>and\u00a0SKATE EGG CASES<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

There was lots of other types of\u00a0BLING<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0on the beach as well. It was a crazy site! Here is a MILLIPEDE STARFISH…<\/p>\n

I met a group of 6 gals on a Girls Getaway Trip that were fascinated by all of the\u00a0BEACH BLING<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0that had washed up. Some of them had never been shelling on Sanibel before so I told them that this is not an every day site to see so many PEN SHELLS and EGG CASES. \u00a0From left to right, meet Laurel, Lea, Carol, Jenifer, Lori and Suzanne… all from Philadelphia…<\/p>\n

And yes, they were finding shells! Along with lots of other shells, Lea found a BANDED TULIP, a TRUE TULIP and the shell from a PURSE CRAB.<\/p>\n

When we see this many PEN SHELLS washed up on the beach, that usually means there will be good shelling in days to come as well. Yeah!<\/p>\n
