Old conchs, whelks and other shells make great decor in this long basket<\/p><\/div>\n

We didn’t get to the beach today but we did get to see some great shells at our friends Susan and Craig’s house for a dinner party. Susan is an artist who loves to decorate with color and shells so, of course, I loooove her style. She has designed their home to be the perfect Captiva beach house complete with her newly made shell mirror and sconce with most shells that she has found on the beach near her home. It was a pleasure to be surrounded by so much seashell eye candy….and great company. Thank you Craig and Susan for letting me take pictures to share!<\/p>\n
