Collecting seashells on the beaches of Sanibel, Captiva and the world

My Every Day Camera I Use While Shelling

I get asked every other day what type of camera I use for my blog so here it is. Click on the image to get all the details…

I have been in love with this camera since 2010. I carry it in my pocket every day to take to the beach to use for all of the photos and videos for my blog (besides the first year in 2009). I love this camera. Yes, I’ve had to replace it several times since I play very hard in the sand and surf while shelling (and I’m sort of a klutz :/). I try very hard to keep it out of the the sand and water because sand and water aren’t friendly with these cameras. I feel like any other camera wouldn’t have gotten me where I wanted to go and do as well as this one. Here’s a link for more details…

Panasonic Lumix ZS20 14.1 MP High Sensitivity MOS Digital Camera with 20x Optical Zoom (Black)

Yes, I’ve tried waterproof cameras- I just wasn’t as crazy about the photo quality and the splashes on the lens so I have always come back to the Panasonic. And no, I don’t work for Panasonic. :)
