The skies were blue, the water turquoise, the beach had shells on our iLoveShelling Adventure to Big Hickory island. But the best part of this entire day for me was meeting such awesome happy people who were seeking shells in the water and beach bling (like SEA PEARLS still in their purse) and mini shells up on the beach. It was soooo much fun to meet y’all!

Super Sheller Tyler found an awesome albinistic LACE MUREX and GAUDY NATICA…

He also found the coolest FIGHTING CONCH shell fragment perfectly sliced showing its growth pattern. Love that so much.

How can these smiles get cuter?

Now you can see why those are such cute smiles… look at that huuuuge NUTMEG (of course its always a good day to find an ANGEL WING).

It was fun to see Julie again with her family. While the girls were shelling, the boys were fishing on the island. Yep, they caught quite a few fish – congrats!

Such a fun day Mother-Daughter day shelling together :)

We even had awesome shellers from Europe!

Its a special day to meet so many shellers who have the same love of shelling. Beach combing is really just a path to lead us to experiences that have even bigger meaning, right?

Who knows where those experiences will take us when we explore and learn about the sea.

Long lasting friendships are formed on special days like these.

You know its a special day when DOLPHINS wanna dance and play with us!
