Captiva Flotsam
I never really payed much attention to the weeds, sticks and oddities that washed up on the beach until I saw this old tree root… or whatever it is that washed up at Blind Pass. It made me think about what Prudence of Flotsam Friends makes with all of this beach “trash”.

Beautiful, huh? I can’t imagine what she could make with all of the crazy roots of this one today. Isn’t it funny how this tree root looks a lot more interesting now that you take a second look?

I have a shelf in my garage full of sticks, weeds, seed pods and stuff that is good to put in shell wreaths, etc. After a trip to the beach my garage is a little odorous for awhile but I survive.
thanks pam for posting these pictures, i was wondering what the water was looking like these days. The water in here is a disappointment lately because of algae. we will be there tomorrow I can’t wait!!

Love Flotsam Friends….such a creative way to express the beauty of the ocean….
