Can you believe this is the track of an AUGER in the sand? There was a whole area on the beach where augers were making curly Qs and squiggly cirles before they would dig themselves under the sand. I couldn’t get over that each one was a piece of art in itself. So when I wanted to find something blue and red to “shellebrate” July 4th, I thought I’d embellish the art that the augers had started by changing the color of the sand on my computer.  To begin, this is what an AUGER shell looks like……

This was my red contribution for Independence day. I had so much fun, I kept going with more and more auger art.
